Isabella Petroni –  Festival Director

We are so excited to have Isabella on board as our new Director in 2024!  A passionate environmentalist, Isabella joined the festival team in 2023 and quickly learned the ropes to step up as director.  We are excited to have the enthusiasm and creativity of her youthful energy for our next generation of festivals!

Brigitte Griffin

Recycling Coordinator and Vice President

Brigitte is passionate about waste reduction and brings that passion to our team as our Recycling Coordinator. This is her 6th year volunteering with the Festival,  during which time she has helped to significantly expand recycling and waste awareness, along with the number of items the festival collects. Brigitte works full time at the McAuliffe Branch Library and is very active in local community groups Transition Framingham and the Framingham Seed Lending Library

Jacey Norton

Children’s Coordinator and Treasurer

Jacey has been coordinating  the Children’s Activities at the Festival for 8 years, and  does an amazing job blending fun with education. Jacey is also the Director of the Framingham Centre Nursery School (FCNS) which is a nature based preschool in the basement of the Parish Hall at First Parish Church (directly across the street from the festival). Check in with Jacey the day of the Festival to see what fun she has planned for the festival or to pick her brain on the amazing work she does at FCNS!

Max Larson

Music Coordinator

Max has served as the Music Coordinator for the Framingham Earth Day Festival since 2013. A Framingham native and lifelong musician, Max brings together local artists and entertainers who share the festival’s passion for serving the community and protecting the environment. He works at Centre Music House and serves on the board of the Framingham Centre Common Cultural District.

Donna Kramer Merritt

President and Co-Founder

Donna is the heart and soul of the Framingham Earth Day Festival.  With a handful of a eager volunteers, she  founded the Festival in 2011,  and served as Director for 8 years.     Donna owns The Gentle Place, a Framingham based wellness center offering yoga, massage, therapy and much more!

Bob Zimmerman

Co-Founder

Bob Zimmerman is one of the original founders of the Festival in 2011, and has been a mainstay of the organization, filling several roles over the years.   Bob may seem unassuming and quiet, but our Jack-of-all trades is always there to make sure things get done!!

Alex Volfson

Co-Founder

Alex is a founding member and has served many roles over the years.  Alex is also one

of the co-founders of a local environmental organization called Transition Framingham and has a leadership role in the Framingham Repair Cafe. As a true local hero the full bevy of other environmental efforts that Alex has been a part of is far too long to list!
